Marion Manufacturing Engineer (Finance)
Manage projects and task in accordance with strategic and tactical planning.
Promoting and contributing to a positive and cooperative working environment.Establishment of standard cycle time / routings. Analyzes and recommends work force utilization, space requirements, workflow to improve efficiency.Interfaces directly with the Manufacturing shop employees to clarify questions on drawings and designs and helps troubleshoot problems on special orders or production products. Also, all floor support activities to include but not limited to tooling purchases, kan ban set up, maintenance requirements, process failure etc.
Continuous improvement in the area of lean manufacturing and 5S programs driven to continually improve Total Cycle Time of Mills processes. Observes and oversees, assembling, machining, fabricating processing, packaging operations and shipping processes. Ensures employees adherence to quality standards Ensures a clean and safe working environment. Holds employees accountable to established policies, procedures, rules and regulations Trains and instructs employees on the proper use of equipment Provides technical guidance on complex issues Capable of identifying performance issues and able to coach behavior to achieve improved performance Capable of team building Seamless communication between departments, shifts

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline three (3) to five (5) years of relevant and progressive manufacturing engineering and supervisory experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Must be computer literate.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
