Associate Engineer Technical Services (Finance)

Job Description:

The Associate Engineer Technical Services provides technical support/advanced troubleshooting and drives continuous product, process, and packaging improvement at MW factory locations. The position is a member of the MSE Focused Improvement (FI), FMOS Pillars and support Q Pillar initiatives; leads/executes improvement projects and mentors/trains others in problem solving methodologies. Additionally, this role manages R&D line trials by coordinating requests with the site value stream, R&D, Engineering and Commercial to ensure optimal execution and knowledge capture.

What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in engineering) or closely related scientific with 2+ years engineering or related food industry experience
  • Ability to work in teams, collaborate and influence others

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
  • Understanding of raw and packaging material functionality, risks and performance in a food product
  • Preferred experience in food packaging and/or processing, with an understanding of processes and machine operation. Project management
  • Process control, SPC, Six Sigma Green Belt required preferred
  • Demonstrated success influencing/leading others. Presentation skills and good communication skills
  • Product Quality Custodian, Continuous Improvement, Capturing and Leveraging Knowledge, Communication of Research Outcomes

What are your key responsibilities?

  • Implements new and improved products, processes, systems, methodologies, and packaging
  • Designs, manages, communicates and documents line trials
  • Develops and implements financial and quality continuous improvements through the application of complex problem-solving techniques, contributing to overall site CI goals through the completion of at least 2 Six Sigma projects per year
  • Supports development of standard run conditions as part of new product/process/pack validation
  • Leverages standard run conditions to develop statistical process control settings and ranges. Adds new sample plans to system
  • Participates in Quality Management Programs (QMP) such as but not limited to Internal Audits, CAPA's, S-CAPA's

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all locations listed within the job posting:USD 76,917.00 - USD 105,763.00 Apply
