Benefits Analyst (Finance)

The salary range posted represents the low and high end of OSI's salary range for this position. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, experience and performance. Base salary is one component of OSI's overall total rewards package. Other components may include bonuses, special pay programs, comprehensive time off, 401k with match and a full suite of benefit offerings for you and your family.

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for providing oversight and support for all company benefits projects and programs. This role will help coordinate the implementation of new benefit initiatives for the company as well as be a key team member during the annual enrollment process. This role will work with various HR teams, vendor partners, key point of contact for employees with benefits questions, provides timely responses and excellent customer service.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Retirement Program Management: Partner with the 401k record keeper on any escalated employee issues, support the accurate maintenance of employee records in coordination with payroll, help lead the annual 401k audit and testing process and partner with the corporate and field HR teams to improve 401k plan education across all facilities.
  • Annual Enrollment: Work with the benefits team, broker and vendors on plan design strategy and changes. Be an active partner for the Open Enrollment process including supporting the creation and launch of an online tool, HR department training and support and overall communication material development
  • Customer Service: respond to employee benefit inquiries, contacting vendors as needed to resolve complex issues. Investigate for root-cause of any issues, coordinating across teams for issue resolution. Recommend and implement process or communication improvements to prevent issues and/or improve employee self-service experience.
  • Wellness & Education: Support the development, coordination and delivery of wellness materials and overall benefit plan education across all facilities.
  • Benefit Data: support the file feed process with benefit vendors, including resolving any issues/errors. Provide support for tracking plans' financial information and all annual compliance reporting.
  • This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures. This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.

Experience & Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in related field is preferred.
  • Experience in Benefits
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and work successfully in a team environment.
  • Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.Experience with human resources information systems (UKG preferred) including monitoring benefits data integrity and reporting

Preferred Education:

• BA/BS or equivalent is preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Work is generally performed within a business professional office environment, with standard office equipment available.
  • Work conditions are typical of an office environment.
  • This role requires 10% domestic travel.
  • Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 15 pounds
  • Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
  • Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for Less than 4 hours.
