Location: Goleta, CA
The Role
The Buyer is responsible for executing and communicating merchandising strategies for the North America Teva Ecommerce business. The Buyer will report to the Merchandise Manager. They will work cross functionally with the Teva Brand Product team, Marketing team, Wholesale team, DTC Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Performance Marketing and e-Commerce Producers to build assortment plans and execute said plans to deliver set revenue goals. This position is key to working with multiple teams in order to plan, buy and manage product that aligns with brand goals, GTM calendars and DTC planning. An employee who is a good fit for this role is someone who can collaborate easily, take direction and also provide feedback to adjust product and go to market strategies to best fit business needs. This job impacts multiple partners and departments so it's important the work is detailed, accurate and easily comprehended. The individual will need to work with multiple departments to bring the product from conception to delivery. A typical workday usually involves meetings with various partners, detailed work at a style-color level in excel and other programs. The most challenging part of this job is the constant change and need to adjust and adapt to changing trends, deadlines, etc. The ideal person will be organized, able to multi-task, handle multiple deadlines, and work easily with a variety of teams.

Who You Are
We'd love to hear from people with
2+ years retail experience
Omni-channel and corporate merchandising experience preferred
Footwear and/or apparel experience preferred
Basic retail planning skills including sell thru, lifecycle, margin, markdown strategy
Medium to strong Excel skills required
