Maintenance Technician (Finance)
Heritage Ministries is in growth mode and currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team! As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks and projects as required. A Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations. Responsibilities:
Responsible for the maintenance of any buildings on the grounds of Heritage Ministries such as power, water and electrical systems. Responsible for the general appearance of buildings and grounds. May have to work outside around plants such as poison ivy, sumac, and oak. Monitors buildings for resident, employee, and visitor safety. Must notify supervisor of any potential problem. May be responsible to respond to emergencies and must take appropriate action in the case of maintenance emergencies. Repairs and maintains equipment when needed. Assists with regular preventative maintenance on all equipment.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED/TASC required. Demonstrate basic knowledge and skills in all or some disciplines of construction carpentry, masonry, painting, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing tasks. Ability to work independently and handle emergencies. Ability to lift over 60 pounds, stand, walk, sit, bend, and twist. Have basic troubleshooting and repair skills. Ability to prioritize and coordinate tasks and assignments. Ability to interact appropriately and professionally with staff, residents, vendors, and volunteers.
