Your impact as a Laboratory Specialist, is vital. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cellular Therapy Laboratory biotherapies team! You will support Vitalant's life saving mission by preparing routine specimens and performing supplementary tasks to aid in testing, processing and cryopreservation. You will also work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely, high-quality, test results, while maintaining accurate record-keeping.
What to Expect
Schedule: Daytime hours - Tuesday-Saturday
As a Clinical Laboratory Specialist, you'll get to:
- Performs preparation and prequalification of reagents and routine testing of biological samples.
- Performs preventative maintenance and QC on equipment, identifies equipment malfunctions, performs basic trouble shooting.
- Assist with evaluation of reagents, equipment and new methods.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- CLIA requirements for high complexity testing required.
- May be required to deliver product or pick up product -will need to maintain a valid Driver's license to drive company car.
- One year Clinical Laboratory experience required.
