Manager of Growth Phase One (Finance)
Ensure all compliance requirements are met including facilitation of the immediate adjustment of practices to accommodate the dynamic changes that regularly occur.
Ensuring all staff is following company defined protocols. Enforce all company policies/regulations.
Performing disciplinary actions as needed.
Manage employees, including planning, assigning and directing work, examining performance, disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving employee issues.
Ensure all team members are performing assigned tasks to company standards.
Develop and maintain the management of GP1 procedures at the facility.
Plan and carry out the management of cleaning procedures.
Determine daily prioritization of all tasks by collaborating with the Supervisors of Production in an effort to maintain smooth garden cadence.
Manage the rotation and adjustments of plant loads per direction of the analytics department.
Planning and managing schedules for cleaning of all equipment, supplies, machinery, and production areas.
Executing all paperwork in order to keep the Production Department staffed and up to date in the time card software.
Update and track all required information daily.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Work Environment
Communicate with the Operations Manager, and Safety Coordinator to ensure a safe and efficient environment for all employees and plants respectively.
Ensure all safety protocols are being followed.
Monitor and address situations which include plant health, product loss, proper functioning of all systems(CO2,HVAC, Lighting Fixtures, etc.).
Ensuring that sufficient supplies for Production are available.
Keep doors closed when not in use.
Wear protective clothing when working with plants.
Before exiting the facility remove protective clothing and ensure that there is no cannabis on your personal clothing, shoes, or hair.
Communication
Delegate tasks to employees on a priority basis.
Ensure all Team members perform assigned tasks in accordance with Delt Services and department standards.
Assist employees and management to accomplish all tasks, quotas and goals on a daily basis.
Monitor environment to ensure optimal plant growth rates, as set by Livwell Environmental Standards.
Host meetings with the supervisory team to plan updates for all employees that concern daily activities and company changes.
Ensure communication within the department for work flow.
Communicate changes to Delt's standards, protocol, and policy to employees.
Communicate with all other departments to ensure proper implementation of tests, workflow, compliance, safety, etc.
Assist with providing leadership and direction to departmental employees to ensure the effective use and management of systems. Think in terms of operational effectiveness, accessibility, security, and scalability.
Communication with all teams regarding all processes.
Compliance
Assist to ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.
Assist to ensure that workflow and work procedures are documented and that appropriate controls and audits are in place to ensure data and processing integrity.
Leadership and Supervision
Assist with the management of employees, including hiring and developing, planning, assigning and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving employee issues.
Provide technical leadership and managerial direction to designated employees.
Assist in establishing initial and ongoing training for employees to ensure an adequate level of understanding regarding guidelines, policies and procedures.
Ensure that individual and team performance meets the Company's standards of service and quality.
Monitor employee attendance, time off balances, time off requests, and all other attendance related procedures/processes.
Perform disciplinary actions as needed in accordance with Employee Handbook.
Perform employee reviews annually.
Perform Employee Engagement Exercises within 90 days of employees' new role.
Provide coaching for Production employees.
Work collaboratively with all Delt's employees and business partners.
Assist with providing effective leadership to employees to ensure a complete understanding of and alignment to Delt's vision, mission and values to maintain a positive work environment and a high level of morale.
Assist with Developing and managing projects, including defining project scope, resources and achieving deliverables on time and within budget.
Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment to ensure the garden is well maintained.
Ensure cleanliness of all areas in the garden.
Maintain a positive attitude that creates a positive work environment.
Supervision
Works under the direct supervision of the Senior Manager of Production.
Supervises non-exempt employees.
Job Qualifications
Work Experience
A minimum of one year of experience working in a related industry or work environment.
A minimum of one year of leadership experience working in a related industry or work environment.
A minimum of one year of experience as a Production Supervisor required.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Previous management experience preferred.
Demonstrated oral and written communication capabilities.
Ability to utilize and modify electronic documents.
Able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility.
Must be able to secure appropriate work credentials from the Colorado Department of Revenue, MED.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Hours regularly exceed 40 hours per week.
Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
