    JOB SUMMARY

    This role is a Marketing program support and client services position located in the SourceAmerica National Office in Vienna, VA. Working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, the Marketing Specialist will be responsible for helping to implement the successful development and execution for a wide range of marketing initiatives. Strives to build client relationships, competency in writing and presenting marketing content, ability to manage multiple marketing initiatives at one time, is a creative thinker with the ability to execute on marketing strategies and tasks.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Coordinates creative development and production of marketing materials, promotional items, collateral, and marketing outreach for print, video, digital and web for internal business partners.
    • Applies productive questioning skills to understand client goals and assesses information to uncover ways to deliver effective and efficient solutions to client objectives and challenges.
    • Works cross-functionally to manage internal and external marketing activities.
    • Responds to ad-hoc requests from clients in a timely manner and is able to provide marketing expertise and guidance.
    • Researches, develops, executes, and measures email marketing campaigns and collaborates with sales team to set campaign goals and objectives.
    • Creates relationships with colleagues — creatives, marketing, and marketing operations
    • Collaborates with sales to understand objectives and translate that information into impactful and measurable customer support tools.
    • Uses project management software and other digital resource tools to effectively manage projects, client collateral, and digital assets.
    • Communicates scope, timing and/or budget changes to team members and key stakeholders, developing contingency plans as needed.
    • Understands how to translate client goals and objectives into creative briefs and provides direction for the creative team.
    • Manages vendors, consistent with procurement policies and procedures for various assignments.
    • Applies marketing best practices, trends, and knowledge of SourceAmerica key strengths and attributes to all marketing initiatives.
    • Cooperates fully with meeting the requirements of the Cooperative Agreement.
    • Performs additional duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
    • Actively participates in SourceAmerica's Everyday Performance Management program.
    • Cooperates fully with meeting the requirements of the Cooperative Agreement.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

    • Associates degree in a related field of study from an accredited institution or equivalent (1.5 years work experience = 1 year college)
    • 2 years of related work experience

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study from an accredited institution
    • 4+ background in marketing and communications.

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS

    • Experience working with Marketing automation software, email campaigns.
    • Interest in disability employment, sales, events marketing, and web.
    • Collaborative in nature; enjoy working as part of a team with multiple internal and external resources. Must be able to work independently.
    • Proactive self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to perform duties independently – but know when appropriate to seek guidance.
    • Experience with sales support, trade shows, or events marketing.
    • Must be extremely detail oriented with the ability to assist with multiple, concurrent projects simultaneously.
    • Positive attitude and collaborative spirit.
    • Ability to effectively collaborate with individuals and teams across a 400+ organization with a national footprint.
    • Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills, including grammar and proofreading skills.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Flexible schedule and some travel required during certain time periods.
