Legal Counsel (Legal)
Fundamental Mission:
The Legal Counsel will be a key member of small Legal Department consisting of 4 lawyers and 1 legal executive assistant. Preferred candidates will have 4 to 8 years of experience as a general corporate attorney. The Legal Counsel will primarily support commercial transactions and also serve as the lead lawyer for labor and employment matters for the North America Region. The Legal Counsel will formally report to the General Counsel – North America. Additional responsibilities include Corporate Secretary support for our North America companies, health and safety, and other regulatory matters and may additionally include support for sourcing, intellectual property, compliance, trade, and other matters.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in a business office environment. Subject to the ability to satisfactorily perform the responsibilities of their position and with approval of both the Human Resources Department and the General Counsel – North America, the Legal Counsel will be permitted to work under our Flex Place Program with at least three (3) days per week in Company offices and two (2) days per week at home or other approved remote location.

Legal experience in multiple areas of law applicable to the day to operations of an international company and its subsidiaries.
