Production Engineering Technician II (Sales)
Engineering
Actively participate in product planning to ensure functionality and cost control from prototype to . Conduct testing on new product, software, and fixtures. Create and implement document control measures to ensure consistent and accurate documents, including but not limited to, Bill of Materials (BOM), deviation requisitions, build processes, testing results, etc. Coordinate quarterly UL inspections Conduct weekly Change Request (CR) meetings and follow-up on tasks assigned.
Quality
Conduct quality inspections of incoming purchased material and equipment based on established criteria Develop and implement dock to stock inspection processes and records Analyze field failures and returns to identify vendor issues and resolve through corrective actions (CAR) Manage calibration of inspection tools and test equipment. Collaborate with vendors to determine product specifications, complete corrective actions (CAR), and ensure continued quality.
Manufacturing
Utilize knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication process, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards to ensure the production of a high-quality product. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods Support day-to-day production work, including interfacing with operator and other support staff Provide technical support and training on manufacturing processes, testing, and validation of documentation throughout product Possess and apply advanced mechanical trouble shooting and problem-solving skill in repair, improvement, and refurbishment of existing fabrication equipment
