What you will be doing:

  • Provide career counseling and career development sessions for Jovia internal staff.
  • Create, develop, and implement programs that will assist staff in exploring their career options. Administer and manage current programs including internships, job shadowing, and other future internal career programs as they get developed and implemented.
  • Develop positive working relationship with staff, management, and executives in order to promote the value of internal movement of talent in order to achieve desired goals.
  • Research and analyze current employment and recruiting trends in various industries.
  • Conduct career awareness events and internal job fairs or similar events that allow staff to learn about positions across Jovia.
  • Own the full-cycle internal recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, testing, interviewing, presenting, evaluating qualifications, and closing qualified entry-level to executive-level candidates.
  • Develop a pool of internal qualified candidates in advance of need and future opportunities; develop creative ways to manage internal talent.
  • Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new in recruiting, compensation, and emphasizing benefits and perks.
  • Assist in developing quality measurement and key performance indicators (KPI) for Recruiting, including time to hire, cost per hire, and quality of hire.

What we need from you:

  • Minimum of five years working in a recruiting capacity, preferably with exposure to, and familiarity with, financial products and services.
  • Bachelor's degree required; SHRM, SPHR, or PHR Certification is preferred.
  • Knowledge and a very good understanding of the full-recruiting cycle, total compensation, as well as general knowledge of Human Resources and employment law. Prior experience in coaching and developing staff is a plus.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and managing various career programs is necessary.
  • Strong Office 365 including but not limited to Word, Excel, Adobe, and the Internet are mandatory.
  • Possess the ability to follow up and function with minimal supervision, exhibit a positive attitude, and cooperative spirit, think out of the box, and be willing to work flexible hours when required.
  • Be willing to work as part of a team and have a commitment and dedication to quality service, support diversity, and be knowledgeable in employment law.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail and relational skills, and experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, complex projects with little direction is required.

Work From Home Requirements:

  • Internet speed of 50mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net)
  • Able to dedicate a quiet space for daily work that is free of sound interruptions.
  • All equipment will be provided by Jovia (Computer, Monitor, Headset)
