Job Summary:

Akima Support Operations currently seeking a Truck Driver to support the Eagle LSS in cavazos, TX. 

Job Responsibilities:  

  • The Truck Driver, Light drives a truck to transport materials, merchandise, equipment, or workers between various types of establishments such as: manufacturing plants, freight depots, warehouses, wholesale and retail establishments, or between retail establishments and customers' houses or places of business. This driver may also load or unload truck with or without helpers, make minor mechanical repairs, and keep truck in good working order.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of straight truck (1 ½ tons) driving experience.

  • Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening

  • Valid Driver's License

  • High School Diploma / GED

  • Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 Investigation and obtain a CAC

  • Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.

Desired Qualifications:  

  • Knowledgeable in U.S. Army maintenance procedures

  • U.S. Army 88M series MOS qualification or civilian equivalent

Pay Rate: 

  • Hourly Compensation: $16.72

Physical Demands: 

  • Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
