YOUR ROLE

  • Operation and maintenance of Analytical Equipment (GC-MS, LC-MS, FTIR, etc.)
  • Acquisition of knowledge for problem-solving customer requests
  • Preparation of technical reports to variable audiences
  • Development and publishing of analytical methods • Presentation of analytical data and its application(s)
  • Critique of internal technical reports
  • Strict compliance to corporate and departmental policies (Quality, Safety, etc.)
  • Experience with computer systems (Microsoft Office, LIMS, Statistical Analysis)
  • Contributes to strategic and tactical planning
  • Identifies and drives new business development activities
  • Supports R&D projects critical to business
  • Acts as an ambassador for the scientific community of Henkel BU
  • Generates test plans and/or experiments

YOUR SKILLS

  • Masters or Ph.D. in Organic synthesis, Polymer Chemistry & Analytical Chemistry preferred
  • Work experience of 3 years
  • Experience with oversight of high-volume lab processes
  • Experience with organic and inorganic analytical techniques preferred
  • Familiarity with routine use of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to write clear concise reports and give presentations on analytical data.
  • Effective communication skills with customers (personal, verbal, correspondence, etc.).
