Night Auditor

Location: Peppertree Ocean Club – North Myrtle Beach, SC

LaTour Hotels & Resorts, Inc. (LHR) is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team at Peppertree Ocean Club. This overnight role is essential in ensuring smooth resort operations by providing exceptional guest service while accurately reconciling daily financial transactions.

Position Summary

The Night Auditor serves as both the overnight front desk representative and the financial reconciler for the resort. This dual responsibility ensures accuracy in reporting while providing guests with a seamless check-in, check-out, and overall hospitality experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and register guests with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency
  • Manage guest check-ins/check-outs, reservations, and room rentals in line with sales strategies
  • Provide information about resort amenities, services, and operating hours
  • Answer and direct phone calls while resolving guest concerns promptly and courteously
  • Perform accurate cash handling and payment processing
  • Enter and review daily resort transactions for accounting accuracy
  • Reconcile and balance revenue activity and occupancy records
  • Complete all audit functions on time and with precision
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions
  • Support additional guest service duties as needed to uphold resort standards

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1 year of hospitality front desk experience
  • Prior night audit experience preferred

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English required)
  • Ability to multitask between phones, guest interactions, and computer-based work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; 10-key and basic math skills
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands/fingers
  • Occasional sitting, bending, kneeling, or lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Primarily evening/overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Work environment includes an office setting with frequent interruptions; often the only staff member on duty
