Product Marketing Intern (Finance)
The Product Marketing Intern will exhibit genuine interest in solving work problems through proactively asking questions, clearly communicating, and collaborating both internally and externally to grow the business. In addition, the Product Marketing Intern is responsible for understanding our competition and customers and showing initiative to learn and continuously improve company processes.
This Position will assist Product Managers in the assessment of early-stage product opportunities – which could be exploratory in nature compared to what CCC (Compressor Controls Corporation) serves today – to identify tangible paths for business growth. For instance, it may be in the areas of creating hardware platforms in un-addressed / underserved space, application of CCC control algorithms / expertise outside of Oil & Gas / Turbomachinery controls, etc.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
For a given product opportunity:
Research and compile reports on Total Addressable Market (TAM)
Identify key success factors / Critical-To-Quality (CTQs)
Make preliminary assessment on competing products against CTQs
For existing products:
Create product reports in the company's existing ERP such as sales by region, parts, etc.
Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Working towards a degree in Engineering, Business, Statistics, or Computer Science
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Analytical skills
Reasoning / critical thinking skills
Presentation / visual communication skills
Ability to read, speak, and write in English required.
