Analyst, Expert Services (Finance)
Kroll's Expert Services practice provides economic damages, shareholder disputes, forensic accounting, valuation, and other financial and investigative services to attorneys and companies involved in litigation, among other forms of disputes and investigations. Our professionals are trained to provide expert witness testimony in our firm's areas of expertise. We're looking for a Analyst to support our Expert Services team. As an Analyst you will work on engagements elated to forensic accounting matters, investigative services, and dispute consulting.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engagement teams in creating forensic accounting analyses, financial models, business valuations, and other analyses as dictated by the needs of the client or legal counsel
- Collaborate with engagement teams in providing guidance to attorneys on key accounting, financial, and business issues
- Collaborate with engagement teams in the development and evaluation of damages claims and other financial calculations
- Organize and analyze large data sets to provide meaningful conclusions.
- Independently gather data pertinent to the engagement through direct client interaction, client site visits, and independent research
- Contribute directly to the development of work product, expert reports, proposals, presentations, and publications communicated to current and prospective clients
- Quality assurance for expert reports and other work product
Essential Traits:
- You have a Bachelor's or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- You have a thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
- You have strong Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint skills
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills with a talent for conveying complex information in a clear and persuasive manner
- You have strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills

The current salary range for this position is $60,000 to $90,000
