Communicate with consultants, employees, vendors, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate, or explain information.
Compile, copy, sort, and file records for project trackers and Encore reporting.
Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer.
Compute, record, and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports
Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.
Perform buying duties.
Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.
Review requisition orders to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications.
Participate in weekly construction calls to update team members on status of purchasing and warehousing.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and internal tracking systems for Encore
The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
The ability to use basic math skills
Ability to work with Head of Construction and Development Manager in the interpretation of plans and confirmation of quotes to plans.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree Preferred
Should have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in a Purchasing/Procurement Office.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Required to sit for long periods of time.
Infrequent light physical effort required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work performed both remote and in an office environment
