A Role You Will Love As part of the Account Management Team, the Account Manager serves as the primary contact for employee plan clients managing the tactical administration of share based and equity compensation plans. This position is responsible for supporting client revenue and retention. The Account Manager actively engages with the client to manage the day-to-day plan activity. May also be responsible for introducing additional service offerings and leveraging opportunities for increased revenue and profitability. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Work with Plan Sponsors and internal business partners to ensure scheduled allocations / purchases for the employee stock purchase plans are completed.
Coordinate and manage restricted and performance grant lapses and deliveries in accordance with prescribed plan sponsor play books.
Update and/or coordinate plan events such as enrolment windows or equity compensation granting.
Communicate file import and export exceptions to Plan Sponsors as required to ensure timely update of indicative, demographic, and payroll records.
Research and respond to Plan Sponsor inquiries regarding activity at a plan or participant level.
Ensure key data points are received and shared with internal business units for dividend, proxy, statement, plan reporting and tax reporting.
Serve as liaison for internal business groups for participant inquiries initiated through Computershare which require Plan Sponsor resolution, response or validation.
Works in concert with Sales, Product, Relationship Management and other internal clients and external entities to meet client needs.
Identify and support product and revenue initiatives in accordance with product offering and client retention.
Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.
What Will You Bring to The Role? As this role sits within our Accounts Management team, a background in working with clients is needed. Building working relationships is key to your success, so being able to talk to work with Plan Sponsors and internal cross functional teams. Other education and key skills required for the role include:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certified Equity Professional (CEP) - PREFERRED
1-3 years of Equity Plans Experience
Adaptability/Flexibility, Initiative, Teamwork and Good Communication
Knowledge of financial services, stock options, restricted stock, and ESPP (423b Plans, 25k limits, ISO grant)
Ability to prioritize among many competing priorities
