Restaurant General Manager Newport Harbor & Marina (Food Services)
We are looking for a Restuarant General Manager to oversee our restuarant located in The Newport Harbor Hotel & Marina.
The Restuarant General Manager will oversee and organize activities of the Food and Beverage department including, but not limited to the kitchen, banquet operations, restaurant, room service and bar. It is the Restuarant General Manager's responsibility to maintain a high standard of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. Some duties include reviewing and evaluating customer satisfaction, hiring and training staff and ensuring compliance with all corporate policies and procedures that relate to food and beverage, as well as local, state and federal law regulations. We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, strategic and personable leader who can effectively organize a department under the standards of Shaner Hotels.
High school diploma or equivalent required. College Degree preferred. Minimum of three years' experience in food & Beverage. Prior leadership experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
