RN - Dialysis Access Navigator – 90%FTE, Day/Evening - Fitchburg (12414) (Healthcare)
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to:
Education:
Minimum - Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Preferred - Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or other health related field.
Work Experience:
Minimum - Five (5) years of experience working in a healthcare environment. Two (2) years of experience in dialysis or nephrology.
Preferred - Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team in a complex health care environment such as an academic medical center or large health care organization. Work experience leading initiatives using quality improvement methodology.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - BLS certification.
Preferred - Certification as a Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Dialysis Nurse (CDN).
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Physical Requirements:
Light: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
Work Schedule:
90% FTE, Day/Evening shifts, Monday - Friday, with one day off every other week. No weekend or holiday rotation required. Hours may vary based on operational needs of department.
