Mission
The Data Governance Senior Analyst is a key member of the global information security team who works collaboratively with business and IT stakeholders to understand how data is stored, processed, and transmitted internally and externally. Further, their role is to assist the data governance team in the formation and execution of data governance framework, policy, standards. The person in this role will have strong business/systems analysis skills and be able to understand and articulate the business purposes for data handling and the systems and technology components involved in that handling. They will also be responsible for maintaining all the tools used to monitor, control, and classify data across electronic storage locations, databases, and on-premise & third-party hosted systems. This role will interact frequently with Legal and Business leadership to certify compliance with data classification and handling policies and procedures.
