Software Tester (Finance)
The position location is at or near one of the seven CMOPs in VAs CMOP network (Charleston, SC, Chelmsford, MA, Hines IL, Lancaster, TX, Leavenworth, KS, Murfreesboro, TN, or Tucson, AZ).
Using a Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) methodology and Agile Framework practices, this project delivers development, testing, deployment, and security and operations support for legacy, current, and future CMOP systems integration and software development in a DevSecOps lifecycle.? The successful candidate will provide testing support of all CMOP maintenance and enhancement efforts organized in cross-functional, Agile teams of varying size to build and maintain a platform with capabilities to streamline systems, improve scalability, increase availability and reliability of services, and more accurately measure investments in terms of business value while enabling more efficient delivery. Additionally, work may include support of daily bug fix and issue tracking as it relates to the CMOP software systems to sustain production operations. The sustainment and modernization of the CMOP facilities scope of work tasks are aligned to the team delivery objectives listed below:
Maintenance: Maintenance to all software at the individual CMOP facilities used to interface with local production equipment and processes This maintenance function involves phone and remote system support with the seven CMOPs as well as on-site support.
Enhancement and Integration Support: Provide software services that improve performance, safety, accountability, controls, and documentation including software interfaces as new production equipment is introduced at the CMOPs.
Standardization and Consolidation: Lead efforts to bringing process and documentation standardization to local production systems that includes documentation, workflow, testing processes, code management, centralized, CMOP national-level, code management and other software development processes.
The Candidate will be required to write test plans and test execution summaries, provide automated testing tools, and generate test scripts to validate and support requirements, design and development for verification and validation of data inputs, return values, communications, Microsoft Window Services, web applications, patient information transfer and printing, and other specific requirements / needs for applications and services in the CMOP pharmacy fulfillment domain.

Position Responsibilities:
Develop detailed test plans, test data, and define test acceptance criteria aligned to the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) documentation as required Build Test Plans, Requirements Based Test Suites, Test Cases (Manual and Automated) Tests in Microsoft Azure Test PlansPerform regression testing, covering full suite of Operational Test Scenarios for builds and/or images to be delivered to customerPrepare test report summarizing test results including anomalies, systems errors, and configuration changesSupport software configuration management process and understand software components and their interface requirementsImplement Test Driven Development (TDD) practices within DevSecOps Agile framework to ensure the proper degree of continuous integration and continuous development (CI/CD) rigor is applied to all assigned tasksInterface with key CMOP stakeholders, software developers, analysts, and other team members using the Agile Scrum software development methodologyVerify specific action or function of code and demonstrate successfully to VA CMOP Product OwnerAssist the software development team in the implementation of automated regression testingBe involved in analyses and investigation of related software and hardware integration, or enhancement tasksPrepare design specifications, analysis, and recommendations Interact with key stakeholders, core DevSecOps delivery advisory team, developers, analysts, and other test engineers
