PRACTICE ADMINISTRATOR/CARDIOLOGY (Healthcare)
The Physician Practice Administrator is assigned several AMG physician practices. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, delegating, coordinating and controlling the operations of all assigned practices. The Physician Practice Administrator works collaboratively with practice physicians to ensure the efficient and effective daily operation of the practice including but not limited to the supervision and evaluation of the practice staff and all practice operations, budget management and financial oversight and review, and business process analysis and redesign. He/she develops business plans and financial proformas to evaluate growth opportunities. Provides expertise in front end revenue cycle processes, physician practice performance analytics, patient through-put (LEAN), quantitative analysis and practice start-up.
Requirements:
Education preferred:
Masters degree in healthcare or business administration is preferred
Experience Requirements
Minimum of ten years of management experience in a physician practice or ambulatory care setting within a hospital system preferred.
Licensure
RN strongly preferred

Possesses a broad systems view, ability to communicate effectively to all levels of staff to coach/teach/mentor to identify areas of needed growth and development to bring resources together to accomplish goals.
Ability to implement projects effectively across multiple entities on budget.
Demonstrated management and leadership competencies from holding previous roles which include managing people, strategic planning, demonstrating data driven outcomes and improvement.
Proven leadership experience in managing a clinical outpatient environment. with the ability to effect change and negotiate and/or sell ideas. successful record in directing staff, developing leadership, and shaping a customer service culture.
Effective, dynamic communicator (written/verbal). adept at public speaking and making persuasive presentations. Ability to facilitate group problem solving discussions.
In-depth knowledge of performance improvement and process redesign in physician practice operations including utilization of key performance and outcome indicators and business process improvement models.
Demonstrated critical thinking, process improvement skills, and independent judgment and business acumen in order to facilitate needed change.
Demonstrated statistical and financial analysis skills. Ability to collect, analyze and apply complex data and other pertinent information to develop short and long term physician practice goals and budget needs. Ability to perform complex financial forecasting, create tools to aid strategy and planning processes and performance analytics.
Demonstrated ability to work on a collegial level with physicians, physician leaders, and executive teams. Demonstrated supervisory and mentoring skills.
Proficient at an advanced level in computer skills (i.e. MS Word, Access, Excel).
