Inbound Coordinator (Finance)
Principal Accountabilities
Manage inventories of all raw materials and packaging supplies to ensure appropriate levels are maintained.
Maintain sire PRMS order modifiers to ensure accurate part record data and correct inventory requirements. Must be able to trouble shoot and correct system procedural problems. Analyze variations in usage and be able to explain discrepancies in usage or PRMS.
Maintain accurate and updated information on all packaging materials in Spede system.
Cycle count all inventory of packaging materials as required by area.
Reconcile inventory discrepancies in PRMS inventory system.
Coordinate resolution of possible short inventories.
Enter all raw materials and packaging materials on Hold in PRMS as requested.
Investigate and determine correct transaction activity and system(s) required to reverse errors and /or correct inventory as reported by S&F or discovered during cycle counting.
Use Factory Batch system to identify and correct inventory location issues.
Schedule deliveries, while minimizing inventory, demurrage, warehouse costs and write-offs.
Arrange for disposal of hold materials in conjunction with buyers and the waste team.
Serve as a resource for Receivers, Bills of Lading or Purchase Order problems.

Key Responsibilities:
Working knowledge of food safety.
Performs all assigned activities and job tasks within a line or area
Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Takes corrective actions in solving problems to root cause level
Assess equipment operating reliability and perform routine repairs, adjustments and malfunction troubleshooting
Performs and/or works with Maintenance to complete equipment preventive maintenance
Maintains accurate records of QC checks, production numbers or waste performance
Performs all shift support documentation in a quality matter
Performs QC tasks such as metal checks, inspection of date codes, item numbers, dump logs,etc.
Demonstrates high degree of ownership for product quality: Performs all standard qualitychecks & other quality related duties
Understands production schedules, production computer systems, work instructions and production inventories.
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
Standing on a concrete floor
Wearing proper personal protective equipment (hair net, bump cap, ear plugs, safety shoes,and uniform)
Bending, stooping, twist, turn, standing for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot to cold, dust dirt and chemicals.
Primary Qualifications for this job are:
Most recent Performance appraisal with a minimum of "Meets" expectations and not more than
1 one year old.
No active disciplinary notices.
Acceptable attendance (less than 5 incidents and no discipline above an Initial Warning).
Minimum Qualifications:
Be 18 years of age or older
Have a High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
Must be willing and able to work and accept varying shifts and schedules
Ability to understand and effectively communicate in the English language.
Preferred Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree preferred in business or related field; or equivalent work experience in
MRP and Inventory Control.
Previous buying experience and/or education
Functional understanding of PRMS and its applications
Functional computing abilities in spreadsheet, word and database applications
Ability to work under tight schedules in high pressure situations
Functional understanding of current communications technology. IE: EDI; Internet, etc.
Excellent problem solving skills, especially within PRMS and Spede.
Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
Thorough understanding of Red Prairie
3+ years of manufacturing experience operating a variety of machines
2 years of work experience within manufacturing, or a technical and/or trade discipline
Demonstrated competency in computer and pc software including MS Office and email
Knowledge of inventory control principles
