2nd shift Maintenance Tech (M) $1,000 sign on bonus (Sales)
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
· Lock Out Tag Out Certified
· Responsible for promoting and contributing to a positive and cooperative working environment
· Promote and support deployment and engagement of lean principles, problem solving tools, and other lean approach / tools utilized within the operation
· Analyze, Diagnose, Troubleshoot, and instruct Most situations
Read technical manuals to understand equipment and controls
Disassemble machinery and equipment when there is a problem
Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components
Perform tests and run initial batches to make sure that the machine is running smoothly
Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
· Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
· Work with OEM Service Departments
· Ensure Building Maintenance
· Complete Scheduled preventative maintenance
· Computer Proficient in Applicable Programs {Excel, Word, Internet Explorer, Email}
· Proficient Use of Power and Hand tools
· Proper use of required measuring equipment typical associated with troubleshooting equipment
· Knowledge of Pneumatics
· Knowledge of Mechanical Processes.
· A.C./D.C. Knowledge
· Ability to read and trouble shoot using: Blueprints, Electrical / Hydraulic Schematics, Mechanical Designs and Plans
· Knowledge of PLC programing and operation to include ladder Diagram editing
[To initially qualify for this position, employee must have completed an Accredited Technical Level Machine Maintenance Program and or Equivalent years of experience ]

QUALIFICATIONS: To preform job successfully, an Individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of vocational or high school supplemented by an accredited technical school or three plus (3) years of experience in diversified maintenance operations; or equivalent combination of education and training. Requires knowledge of machining technology, mechanical principles, advanced shop mathematics, job layout and precision measuring procedures, setups, tooling applications, operating methods, welding and machining characteristics of materials. Millwright skills are ideal. A strong background in CNC service/repair and a basic understanding of electrical and electronic service work and equipment are required. PLC experience also desirable.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Possess the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. Must be computer literate.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Possess the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
