This position is located in our Buffalo, NY office with opportunity to be on a hybrid schedule and a few days remote per week.

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and thrive at the intersection of technical expertise and business impact? We're looking for a Technical Enablement Engineer - Microsoft Security, who will empower our reseller partners and support end-customer engagements with cutting-edge Microsoft security solutions. This role blends technical enablement, solution architecture, and strategic consulting to drive adoption, growth, and trust across the Microsoft Security ecosystem.

Your role:

  • Deliver hands-on workshops, webinars, demos, and technical trainings to equip resellers with deep knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Purview, Entra, and other security offerings
  • Create scalable enablement assets (e.g., playbooks, reference architectures, technical guides) tailored to partner needs
  • Help partners evolve into proactive, services-driven security advisors for their customers and assist resellers in positioning Microsoft Security effectively during the sales cycle
  • Collaborate with sales teams to support technical discovery, solution design, and proof-of-concept delivery.
  • Stay up to date on Microsoft Security advancements and translate technical features and customer challenges into tailored solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes.
  • Provide thought leadership on emerging threats, compliance requirements, and security best practices
  • Align with Sales, Marketing, and Vendor teams to align technical enablement with go-to-market strategies
  • Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and partner forums as a subject matter expert
  • Provide feedback loops from customer engagements to inform product improvements and partner strategies.

What you bring to the role:

  • A four-year college degree (or additional experience in a related field) with at least 5 years of specific experience.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Security technologies (Defender Family, Sentinel, Purview, Entra, etc.)
  • Ability to simplify complex security concepts for diverse audiences
  • Passion for cybersecurity, innovation, and driving business impact
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Cloud licensing
  • Proven success in partner enablement, technical training, or customer-facing roles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Preferred experience working with reseller partners, preferably in a technical enablement or training capacity
  • Experience with AI/ML concepts and Copilot technologies is a plus
  • Travel 10-25%, 1-2x a quarter
  • Holds advanced badges and certifications in "advanced solutions" technology categories

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,500.00 - $136,800.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
