Project Manager (Legal)

Job Description:

An established, innovative and high-growth leader in court data and process automation requires the expertise, experience and organized passion of a Project Manager. AACER combines a proprietary SaaS platform with managed services to serve financial institutions, investors and lawyers.
 
The Project Manager is a key member of the AACER client services team, reporting to the Director of Client Services. This role involves tactical and strategic leadership, and overall accountability for the health of relationships with the clients we serve.  In this role, the Project Manager is directly responsible for providing project leadership on initiatives that cross functional areas and are strategic in nature. The Project Manager will determine project key milestones, deliverables, dependencies, issues, risks, and outcomes, as well as track and manage all project related activities and communication to ensure successful project completion, which includes meeting the client's needs.

The Project Manager will collaborate across functions and departments in the execution of his or her responsibilities, including with our Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Product Teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and accurate budget/estimate review and management; monthly forecasting
  • Provide project execution, including continually monitor and evaluate project progress to meet all project deliverables on time, within budget and at the highest quality standards
  • Provide risk management, including anticipate and mitigate risks to the project
  • Document and maintain all project deliverables and action items; provides follow up on outstanding items to ensure all activities are met
  • Creates and maintains timeline of activities; escalates issues and risks to project sponsor that may impede project's success
  • Coordinates and delivers training necessary to complete the on-boarding of the project
  • Provide updates to the project dashboards weekly
  • Provides a monthly status update to the oversight team
  • Works with leaders in other functional areas to ensure all deliverables and action items are complete
  • Handles multiple projects concurrently
  • Gathers and documents client requirements for future enhancements to our offering
  • Ensures the longevity of the client with quarterly ‘check-ins' both remote and on-site
  • On-boards clients for new services
  • Trains clients on product features
  • Performs client audits
  • Oversee complex special projects as determined
  • Account management oversight for client billing activities including invoice review and accounts receivable.

Qualifications

  • College degree required
  • PMP Certification desired
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a project manager and experience seeing projects through to completion
  • Knowledgeable user in Microsoft Office with experience communicating technical business rules and requirements
  • Strong analysis and research skills
  • Ability to effectively  handle multiple tasks and time-sensitive projects, with changing priorities
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills with an ability to approach a problem logically and systematically
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, calm demeanor
  • Ability to interact with all levels of managers and end-users in the organization
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to efficiently gather and process information in a fast paced environment are required
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity
  • Previous remote work experience is a plus
  • The ability to travel up to 25% of the time#LI-RC1
