Social Media Intern (Finance)



Are you looking to gain valuable business experience? Are you creative and an excellent communicator? Are you motivated and eager to learn? If so, we'd like you to join our team as a Social Media Intern.

About the Social Media Intern Role:

During your internship you will learn what it takes to achieve social media success by creating and executing content for our Mainline and Luxart social channels. You will help us tell our brand stories through compelling videos, photos, and posts; manage and monitor daily activity; drive promotions; and help relaunch our influencer marketing efforts.

This internship will last 12 weeks and span from June 8th to August 31st.

As a Social Median Intern, you will:

  • Gain an understanding of the marketing needs and functions of Hajoca's Private Label brands and the processes involved in achieving social media success.
  • Perform marketing-related job duties that support business administration for our Mainline and Luxart brands, including:
    • Capturing and editing short-form video content (e.g., reels, TikToks) and photography for use across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
    • Writing compelling captions, CTAs, and hashtags aligned with each brand's voice.
    • Designing visuals (using Canva, Adobe, or similar) to support campaigns and evergreen content.
    • Scheduling and posting regular content across channels.
    • Monitoring engagement (likes, comments, shares, DMs) and responding with on-brand messaging.
    • Analyzing performance metrics and adjusting strategies accordingly.
    • Tracking performance and compiling post-campaign recaps.
    • Assisting in the planning and execution of seasonal or promotional campaigns.
    • Supporting giveaways, product launches, or brand initiatives as needed.
    • Staying up to date on social trends, platform updates, and best practices.
    • Sharing ideas and insights to keep our content fresh and engaging .
  • Effectively listen, communicate, and interact with coworkers, customers, and vendors.
  • Confidently assist and coordinate with business partners. Research and reach out to influencers that align with Mainline and Luxart aesthetics and values and coordinate influencer partnerships including product seeding and content briefs.
  • Actively pursue opportunities to learn a variety of business functions and why they are important.
  • Make a difference for our brands in a positive way through daily work and/or projects.
  • Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.

About You:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program or a recent graduate within the last 60 days.

Our ideal candidate will also:

  • Be in pursuit of a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Be proficient in social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Experience working with influencers or on brand social media accounts is a plus.
  • Have strong video editing skills (Reels, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools).
  • Have experience with Canva or other platforms.
  • Be highly creative, self-motivated, organized, and collaborative.
  • Be able to excel in a wide range of tasks and showcase both interpersonal and critical-thinking skills.
  • Possesses excellent customer service, communication, telephone, and listening skills.
  • Possess a high level of organization, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Be able to learn and operate the computer-related systems used for business operations including the video conferencing software required for presentations (Zoom, Teams, Webex, etc.).
  • Be able to assist with research, data analysis, and problem solving.
  • Be able to prioritize work projects and multi-task.
  • Effectively use Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel) to communicate via email and to maintain reports and documents.
  • Have the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, teammates, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
