Security and Compliance Specialist (Finance)
Conduct Background Investigations of new employees to include a criminal history check and verify documentation.
Conduct remote video monitoring of all stores and warehouse production facilities.
Create full security plans for camera, alarm and access control system layouts.
Relocate, adjust, and maintain surveillance and alarm equipment as needed.
Add, remove and adjust permissions for access control at all retail and production facilities.
Handle employee badge creation and key control for both production and retail associates.
Adjust employee permissions in the alarm system.
Develop and maintain security floor plans for submission to local and state authorities.
Conduct investigations into suspected theft, fraud, unexplained product loss, cash shortages.
Compliance
Stay current with all laws, rules, and regulations pertinent to all LivWell locations.
Conduct regular user base audits of various computer systems.
Conduct compliance audits of various locations around the company.
Conduct in-depth audits of Metrc and CounterPoint data to ensure compliant practices at retail stores.
Organize Responsible Vendor Training classes for all necessary staff members.
Other Duties
Various data entry projects
Other duties as assigned.
Supervision
Works under the general supervision of the Manager of Security and Compliance.
Job Qualifications
Work Experience
A minimum of one year of experience working in the marijuana industry.
Knowledge of the State of Colorado Marijuana laws, rules, and regulations.
Knowledge of loss prevention methods and strategies to control shrinkage.
Moderate knowledge of security systems to include CCTV, alarms, etc.
Proven proficiency in Microsoft and Google (IE: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Docs, Sheets).
Must have a valid Occupational License from the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division.
Starting pay rate 17.50-19.50 based on experience

Able to use a computer for extended periods of time.

Regular and on-time attendance.
Hours may occasionally exceed 40 hours per week.
Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
