IT Business Operations Analyst I (Finance)



Position Summary:
\n The Business Operations Analyst I is responsible for collaborating with the team to analyze and optimize existing business processes, manage documentation, and perform IT asset, vehicle, and space management tasks. This position also involves maintaining proficiency in all IT Business Operations (ITBO) functions, acting as a backup to the supervisor, and staying up to date with relevant University processes, procedures, and guidelines.

Bachelor's Degree and 0-2 years of related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

FLSB1310 Equivalency:
4 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree.
6 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for master's degree.

  • IT Asset Management: Lead quarterly inventories and annual asset audits. Maintain accurate data in Jira Assets and perform daily inventory management for teams.

  • IT Space Management: Handle departmental work order requests and coordinate facilities-driven projects. Manage building key and card access requests for IT personnel. Maintain and update space management documentation.

  • IT Vehicle Fleet Management: Act as backup for administrative functions. Coordinate vehicle maintenance with USF Facilities and IT teams. Maintain vehicle records and assist in the vehicle disposal process using Jira Assets.

  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with the team to analyze and refine existing business processes. Enhance the use of task management software (e.g., Jira) for operational tasks. Utilize reporting tools to analyze operational data related to asset management, vehicle management, space management, and IT communications. Oversee the development and management of ITBO documentation.

  • General Support: Maintain proficiency in all ITBO functions for operational backup. Stay informed on University policies and procedures relevant to ITBO functions.
