Howmet Fastening Systems Tucson Operations is looking to fill an entry level Machining Tech - Banding Operator Position. The entry level position is responsible for the banding of the fasteners.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Performs the monitoring of the banding
Assists with inspecting components to the proper customer and production specifications.
Performs 5-S duties on a regular basis as necessary.
Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Helps to ensure that quality and standards for the department are adhered to and maintained.
Demonstrate enthusiasm, takes initiative, and works with a sense of urgency to meet or exceed production targets.
Demonstrates learning ability to understand and interpret and variety of technical instructions including manufacturing drawings.
Must have basic computer, math and reading skills
Ability to regularly communicate and work with a team
Must be able to lift and handle up to 35 pounds on a frequent basis
Adheres to Howmet EH&S, Quality, Continuous Improvements and other CompanyQualifications
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Minimum 6 months experience working in Manufacturing
Must be able to work overtime
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
