Our Contract Manufacturing business unit provides solid, liquid, and high viscosity custom blending and bottle, drum, tube, and pouch filling to our customers. Capabilities include hot-pour, emulsion and gel materials, flammable & hazardous, WFI grade and DI water, ISO 5 or 8 cleanrooms, and in-line labeling.
At Polysciences, we take chemistry beyond the ordinary. We produce and sell specialty chemicals for several industries including medical devices, academic research and personal care. We're looking for a Manufacturing Technician to manufacture bulk materials at or below standard cost and comply with pertinent customer/regulatory quality specifications, while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This is a regular, full-time position working Monday through Thursday 4:15 pm-2:45 am
Position is responsible for the accurate weighing, checking and mixing of specific chemical for product formulations; monitoring of a variety of mixing machinery and the accurate documenting and maintaining of production logbooks and records. They're also required to follow all departmental and company SOP's and maintain accurate and timely record keeping on each formulation batch.
