Enterprise Technology Supervisor (Information Technology)

Duties:
IMMI seeks Supervisor, Enterprise Technology in Westfield, IN to assist the VP to ensure the stability, integrity and efficient operation of in-house technology solutions by monitoring, maintaining, supporting and optimizing software and associated operating systems; apply leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of technology solution investments used by IMMI; assist the VP of Enterprise Technology in monitoring, maintaining, and supporting certain IT infrastructure systems; Assist in planning and managing the integration of systems changes into existing systems and software; Liaise with, and provide support to, end users and staff on Enterprise Technology software, equipment and other issues, primarily during 8:00am – 5:00pm support hours; Provide on-call technical support outside of normal business hours when needed; Ensure the availability and uptime of business-critical networking and data center systems; Supervise the completion of regular system maintenance including software upgrades, server security audits and updates, system backups, Windows Server and Windows Client operating system updates and patches; Build relationships with vendor software companies and internal systems staff to complete projects and systems maintenance; Problem tracking with infrastructure support vendors; Create and maintain documentation of certain systems, support procedures, and user manuals; Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems; Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports; Evaluate results of Enterprise Technology projects, then report and make recommendations based on findings; Supervise the three Enterprise Technology functional groups (Networking & Telephony, Systems Administration and Help Desk), providing leadership and mentoring to direct reports; Assist in developing standards and processes to support and facilitate Enterprise Technology projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a computer science or computer information systems-related field; 6 years of experience in systems administration and it project management; 5 years of experience in Microsoft server operating system installation, troubleshooting and maintenance; 3 years of experience in Microsoft server operating systems, active directory and related software systems; 3 years of experience in VMWare server virtualization and VMWare platform administration; 3 years of experience using server backup products and SQL DB replication; 2 years of experience in data center operations, including storage area networks (SAN); 2 years of experience in Microsoft active directory design & maintenance; three or more technical certifications related to systems administration or networking; ability to perform technical problem solving/analysis; ability to multi-task and handle multiple concurrent projects and help desk requests; superior written and oral communication skills; project management ability, with the demonstrated ability to handle complex technical projects & deliverables. travel approximately 5% of the time to other IMMI facilities as needed.
