Lead Software Engineer, Analyst (Finance)
Individual will work directly with business partners at all levels within the organization to organize test facilitation with said parties as well as provide support of these activities. This individual will be accountable for ensuring all test cases are written, documented and are stored on the standard warehouses for audit compliance as necessary. All process standards must be followed and per the NT organizational governance and compliance requirements.
The individual will also be responsible for articulating business needs into IT solutions to improve business process flow and efficiencies and developing documentation for the business and systems to further support and enhance the reporting platform. Provide ongoing business and technical support throughout each reporting docket/implementation. The individual will also be responsible for quality assurance, load testing and regression testing for all components necessary for the reporting needs.
Major Duties
•Interacts closely with NT IT, Business, Implementation teams and other groups facilitating client changes as requested.
•Facilitating and heavily involved with design, testing, debugging and installation of existing and new Mainframe/COBOL/DB2/Crystal programs and reports
•Interpret business requirements into IT solution reporting needs for the client
•Scheduling, migration and implementation of client reports
•Provide production support of changed/new reports and turnover to production support teams
•Create and maintain documentation of new and changed processes
•Utilizing standard NT tools for facilitating these changes to the various environments as needed
Knowledge/Skills: Technical knowledge of a specific area in the financial and/or investment industry (ideally in one or all of these: Accounting, Asset management, Derivatives, Trading, Corporate actions, or other capital market areas) usually obtained by experience in related areas is required to assist in design process improvements and to provide support. Knowledge of systems and technological capabilities usually obtained through formal training or experience with distributed platforms or mainframe is required to assess automation possibilities. Analytical and communication skills obtained usually through experience in related jobs or through formal training in system analysis is required to redesign processes.

•Self-starter that can work independently without a lot of direction
•Must have 5-8 years of programming or equivalent business analyst experience in capital markets
•Must possess excellent oral and written communication and be able to work with all business groups at all levels
•Experience with data warehouse retention and compliance applications are required (i.e. Sharepoint and Service Now)
•Must have SQL and Query-type experience
•Must be able to read and understand COBOL code
•Requires a College or University degree

•Knowledge of Crystal/Business Objects Report development experience is a plus
•Knowledge and experience with other NT Systems (AIP, Derivatives, Fundmaster, Global Data Load) is a plus
•Knowledge and practical experience of other programming languages is a plus
•Job scheduling tool experience is also a plus
