JOB SUMMARY

As a Talent Acquisition Senior Recruiter, you will forge strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and organizational leaders. Collaborating closely with leadership, you will identify and address the specific talent needs of assigned business units, leveraging proven recruiting strategies that align with The Wine Group's Talent Acquisition Strategy. You will oversee the full cycle recruiting process, from sourcing and screening candidates to managing the entire hiring process and negotiating offers. Building and maintaining talent pools through effective relationship building, lead generation, and networking will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will work alongside the Talent Acquisition team to deliver concierge-level experience to both candidates and hiring managers, providing expert guidance, data driven insights, recruiting trends, and ensuring engaging and seamless candidate experience.

The preferred candidate will be located within easy driving distance of California facilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with key stakeholders and leaders to understand and address the talent needs of assigned business units.
  • Consultation: Consult with business leaders on talent gaps to drive an effective and efficient talent acquisition strategy to enable the business.
  • Full Cycle Recruiting: Manage the entire recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and negotiating offers.
  • Creative Sourcing: Source and identify top talent using creative strategies such as direct outreach to passive candidates, career fairs, college recruiting, and social media networking.
  • Traveling: This remote position will require travel for recruiting activities, visits to TWG site locations, and other business purposes.
  • Talent Pool Development: Build and maintain talent pools through relationship building, lead generation, and networking.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather actionable and competitive intelligence from market analysis to advise business leaders on current and future talent trends, ensuring The Wine Group maintains a competitive advantage.
  • Metrics Utilization: Utilize metrics such as time-to-fill and quality of hire for all positions.
  • Candidate Screening: Screen, evaluate, and qualify candidates, including conducting in-depth interviews to understand their qualifications and competencies.
  • Diversity Sourcing: Utilize creative diversity sourcing strategies, building strong external partnerships with diverse associations.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate leadership within the Talent Acquisition Team to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to continually enhance recruiting strategies and process efficiencies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Search for and use new recruiting sources, job boards, and forums to build candidate pools and develop strategies to attract talent for hard-to-fill/specialty positions.
  • Project Management: Manage TA projects and initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 7+ years of recruiting experience with a strong interest, desire and capability to source passive and active candidates.
  • Experience with all levels of recruitment and comfortable with high-volume recruiting.
  • Solid experience working in union environments, Consumer packaged goods or manufacturing teams is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, ATS systems, data analysis, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels, from the Operations Leadership to general winery workers.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills along with the ability to manage priorities and work in both a team and individual setting.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Partial work activities are within an office environment.
  • Some travel will be required, primarily within California.
  • This position will have to travel on occasion up to 15%.

COMPENSATION

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $92,600 - $138,800.
  • Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities, education, and other position-related factors.
