Job Title:

Senior Manager, GRC Engineering

Reports to: Director of Governance, Risk, and Compliance

Role Summary:

The Senior Manager, GRC Engineering will be a key leader in building, implementing, and optimizing Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions for our fast-growing business. This role translates regulatory and security requirements into scalable, automated technical workflows — enabling secure growth and operational excellence across our Go-to-Market and People technology ecosystems.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Own GRC System Architecture and Integrations:  Design, implement, and maintain the technical architecture for our GRC platform. Drive integrations with key SaaS systems, including Go-to-Market tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Boomi) and People technology platforms (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow).

  • Automate Control Workflows:  Partner with Security, IT, Compliance, Sales Ops, and HRIS teams to identify and automate manual compliance and control tasks across the enterprise — ensuring consistent audit readiness.

  • Support GTM and People Technology Compliance: Develop and maintain strong technical understanding of integrations and workflows related to Go-to-Market solutions (CRM, marketing automation, API connectors) and People technology (HRIS, ITSM, onboarding systems) to ensure compliance is embedded by design.

  • Define and Refine Compliance KPIs:  Develop meaningful compliance metrics and risk indicators; use data to continuously improve controls and proactively communicate status to leadership.

  • Lead Reporting and Dashboard Initiatives:  Build intuitive dashboards and reporting capabilities for stakeholders, providing real-time visibility into the risk and compliance posture of critical business systems.

  • Evaluate AI and Automation Opportunities:  Continuously identify, assess, and implement modern tooling — including AI/ML — to drive greater automation, efficiency, and risk reduction across the GRC landscape.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline; advanced degree or industry certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CRISC) a plus.

  • 7+ years of experience in GRC engineering, technical compliance, or security operations roles within a SaaS or cloud-native company.

  • Proven experience designing and managing GRC platforms (e.g., ServiceNow GRC) with hands-on system integrations.

  • Strong technical experience working with and integrating enterprise solutions including but not limited to Salesforce, Marketo, Boomi, Workday, and ServiceNow.

  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern SaaS architectures.

  • In-depth understanding of relevant compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, SOX, FedRAMP, GDPR).

  • Hands-on experience with workflow automation, APIs, scripting, or low-code/no-code tools.

  • Proven ability to build meaningful dashboards and actionable reporting for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to partner across Security, IT, HR, Sales Ops, and Engineering.

  • Passion for continuous improvement, emerging technologies, and driving innovation with AI and automation.
