Senior HR Manager Global Brands (Finance)

This role supports the Global Brands (Global Marketing), Digital & Technology teams. The Sr. HR Manager will play a critical role, leading support of leaders at the Director level and below through the employee lifecycle (Talent & Performance Management, Recruitment, Engagement & Development).

Role Responsibilities

At Suntory Global Spirits, Business Partners are business leaders first, and organization experts second, providing consultation to leaders on critical priorities, long term direction setting, and organization implications.

The Sr. HR Manager will partner with Leads on the Global Corporate Functions HR team, ensuring that the delivery of effective and efficient talent, performance, engagement and resourcing strategies that support the overall objectives of the business.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate on the development of HR policies; implement the policies, procedures and practices that allow the business to work more efficiently
• Drive business performance and productivity through exceptional talent and people management, leveraging strategies and thought leadership from the Global Talent, Learning & Development Team.
• Effectively manage day-to-day HR activities and processes such as recruitment, adeptly managing employee issues, focused learning and development, and driving strategic agendas forward leveraging organization design, strategic workforce planning, change management, and culture-building capabilities.
• Partner with the Director of Employee Relations to execute the employee relations strategy and the disciplinary actions, when applicable.
• Partner with HR Business Partnersacross business regions to build community, ensuring we follow consistent best practices when managing talent across the global marketing, Digital and IT functions.
• Support the Corporate Functions HR Leads to support the design and assessment of organizational structures, ensuring consistency across the Marketing, Digital and Tecnolog Functions.
• Supports the development of robust talent and succession plans including attracting, developing and retaining exceptional talent.
• Partner to lead the facilitation of annual performance management and compensation planning as well as calibration sessions.
• Coach and provide HR support to leaders, teams and employees so they can perform at their best and live the Suntory Global Spirits Values.
• Leverage employee data and analytics (generated from SuccessFactors, Visier, Engagement Survey) to inform decision making, spot workforce trends, and drive continuous improvement.
• Build relations with key talent across the Brand Marketing, Digital and Technology organizations to support them in their career journey.
• Partner with the Finance team on workforce planning including OPEX and headcount accuracy
• Work with the HR COEs on reporting, data accuracy, compliance, employee data audits, as well as proactively run employee data audits to prevent inaccuracy. Manages the preparation of such reports as are necessary to carry out the functions of the department. Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment.

Qualifications & Experience
• 5+ years of Human Resources Business Partner experience
• Prior experience in a similar industry and corporate client groups
• Preference given to candidates with experience in at least one of the following areas: learning and development, university relations, talent acquisition, human resource business partnering
• Previous experience managing business groups through the full life cycle recruitment & talent/performance management process is ideal
• Ability to handle information in a confidential manner
• Knowledge and understanding of the USA/Global employment law
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven ability to effectively influence and make an impact on a wide array of stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Agile, adaptable, and resilient. Enjoys working in a fast-paced and consumer-centric culture
• Ability to develop strong, trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results
• Take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation

The salary range for this role, based in New York, NY, is $140,000 to $169,000, along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate's location, experience, and skillset. The range will vary if outside of this location.
