Director, Sales and Account Strategy (Marketing)



The Director, Sales and Account Strategy will be focused on account planning and account management operations across Diamond accounts within UnitedLex. This individual will drive consistency and ensure target client satisfaction across the Account Executive team.  This role will be a key player in determining account strategy and driving successful relationship based sales models.   

Responsibilities:

  • Hold Account Executives accountable for hitting target client satisfaction. 

  • Enable Account Executives to grow client accounts through development of strategic sales plans with corporate and other strategic partners.   

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, client press, and market factors that could impact or provide opportunities with our Diamond accounts 

  • Maintain strong client relationships and handle escalations and serve as a creative and solution minded support for the Account team 

  • Work with executive and C-level decision-makers to develop long term strategic relationships.   

  • Coordinate with global marketing and sales enablement to prepare and deliver powerful, persuasive target buyer campaigns that effectively demonstrate the value of ULX services and solutions.   

  • Drive a culture of transparency and accountability by modeling a very collaborative and team-oriented approach to address market opportunities  

  • Partner with delivery and operations teams to maximize success of accounts capable of growth.   

  • Collaborate with operations and client engagement services to ensure successful new client onboarding 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.); BA, JD or other relevant advanced degree preferred  

  • 8+ years of progressive sales experience in the professional services industry  

  • Demonstrated success driving Sales and Account Strategy for key client partners 

  • Expert client management and relationship skills, strong executive presence, expert influencing skills 

  • Strong appetite and aptitude for performance and excellent self-management are required.   

  • Passion for enterprise transformation; strong interest in driving successful change for clients 

  • Ability to effectively drive and implement strategic initiatives, leveraging enterprise investment in technology platforms.   

  • Dynamic, persuasive presence with outstanding communication skills.  

  • Strong problem-solving skills and skilled at working effectively with matrixed, cross-functional teams.  

  • Strong track record of exceptional relationship management skills, and the ability to own and develop the relationship with Procurement. 

  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives while working in a fast-paced, global environment.  

  • Big-picture, Team-oriented, enterprise-focused mindset.
