We're seeking a Technical Cloud Architect to join our team! As the Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for shaping the overall technical structure of current & future IT systems and their components. While working closely with all IT teams (IT management, software development, infrastructure, analysis, project management), you will provide future-proof technical solutions that are aligned with the current needs & context. You will also be in charge of managing the responsibility for the overall technical quality of the delivered IT products.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Translate organization requirements into a global IT Network service catalogue to ensure that the provided design meets requested requirements and are in line with the business organization's strategy.
• Based on the analysis of Business requirements you will take a primary role & participate within the assessment of potential solutions and/or suppliers. 
• Recommend solutions and take responsibility for the development of the IT network infrastructure services ensuring reliable platforms and act as final escalation path for support services.
• Monitor and set up a technical architecture that is redundant and ensure Business continuity taking into account the highest security standards.
• Advise and make recommendations to the IT Management regarding IT infrastructure network decisions to ensure that all systems smoothly integrate within the IT architecture of TVH.
• Stay well-informed about the evolutions and developments on the market related to IT-network services & will work closely together with the engineers & manager from the Center of Excellences.
• Continuously strive to keep your knowledge and your leadership skills up-to-date ensuring trusted partnership expertise towards the organization.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university within Computer Information Systems or Computer Science or a minimum of 5 years work experience performing substantially essential functions

Preferred Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role
• Demonstrates deep exposure to and thorough knowledge of Azure and the Google Cloud Platform
• Experience in a multinational organization with an international scope
• Thorough general knowledge of software development
• Demonstrates effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrates proficient organizational, time management, and follow up skills
• Demonstrates flexibility, drive, initiative and a proven ability to obtain timely and quality results
• Demonstrates effective problem solving skills
• Must be team oriented and possess a positive attitude
• Demonstrates a desire and commitment to promote and share the TVH mission, vision, values, and culture
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%
