Senior Process Engineer (Finance)



The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes and driving continuous improvements using advanced engineering techniques. This role leads process improvement initiatives, implements solutions to enhance efficiency and product quality, and provides leadership and mentorship to engineering teams. The Senior Process Engineer oversees complex projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals, safety standards, and quality regulations.
Job Details
  • Position Type: Full-Time/Salary (Exempt)
  • Pay Range: $100,000 - $130,000 per year (depending on skills and experience)
  • Work Location: Onsite - Mooresville, North Carolina 28115
  • Travel: Less than 10%
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of state-of-the-art equipment and processes to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing equipment and processes, providing actionable recommendations to enhance performance and productivity.
  • Take charge of troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts, ensuring swift resolution of equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
  • Create and deliver detailed reports summarizing findings, process improvements, and performance metrics to leadership.
  • Provide guidance and training to engineering teams and staff on best practices for equipment operation, process management, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead process improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Maintain adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards, driving improvements to ensure regulatory compliance.
    Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes to achieve long-term operational success.
  • Enforce 5S principles to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace, driving continuous improvements in workplace safety and productivity.
  • Take an active role in leading, coaching, and mentoring junior engineers and team members, promoting best practices, professional development, and a collaborative work environment.
  • Oversee and execute process improvement projects, ensuring alignment with company goals, timelines, and budgets, while delivering successful outcomes.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with cross-functional teams.
  • Expert knowledge and comprehensive understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing practices.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Required to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending and stooping required.
  • Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.
  • Must be able to work in noisy environments.
