Sr .NET Developer - Security Development and Integration (Information Technology)

Join our Security Development and Integration team, where you'll deliver and automate advanced solutions for Security and Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will drive complex development and integration projects, collaborating with a diverse team focused on automation, integrations, orchestration, and reporting to support security and IAM objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical solutions related to Publix IAM applications and the technologies that support the organization.
  • Promote ongoing enhancement of IAM applications and technical solutions using Agile delivery practices to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Design and maintain automation workflows for security processes.
  • Develop and integrate .NET-based applications and APIs that interact with security and infrastructure systems.
  • Work with product owners and cybersecurity teams to gather requirements and develop scalable solutions.
  • Support platform reliability, security, and governance by coordinating automation with enterprise controls and standards.
  • Produce design materials including user stories, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate product workflow architecture and user experiences to stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in software engineering, with expertise in solving complex enterprise problems and developing scalable solutions.
  • 3+ years building .NET Core/C# enterprise applications and RESTful APIs using ASP.NET MVC and Entity Framework.
  • 3+ years designing RESTful APIs for enterprise workflows.
  • 3+ years with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools, including Git-based source control and automated pipelines.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and services like Azure Event Grid, Logic Apps, or Functions.
  • Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible for cloud provisioning and security automation.
  • Strong knowledge of modern DevOps, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • 7+ years in software engineering, with expertise in solving complex enterprise problems and developing scalable solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications with .NET Core and C#, including work with ASP.NET MVC, RESTful APIs, and backend frameworks such as Entity Framework.
  • 5+ years of experience using Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools, including Git-based version control and automated build and release pipelines.
  • Experience in AI methods, models, and platforms including Microsoft Power Platform, CoPilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, or similar platforms
  • Experience in supporting identity and access management (IAM) tools or access management systems within secure environments.
  • Experience integrating Azure services, such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, and Azure App Services, into enterprise application workflows in hybrid cloud settings.
  • Experience implementing software with containerization technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Azure security controls and deployment processes.
