This position, reporting to the Digital Manager, will be responsible for helping the overhaul and new build of our websites. They will also be responsible for maintaining and updating our websites gjpepsi.com and middlestreet-graphics.com. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for the websites.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage the (re)design, launch, and ongoing management of the websites to engage, attract, and convert visitors
Collaborate with members of the Marketing, Middle Street Graphics, Communications and Sales to align on website strategy, design, content, and execution of business objectives and priorities
Make majority of site content updates for internal stakeholders while ensuring consistent approach to design, UI/UX, SEO, and information architecture, as well as consistent training for other content owners and creators
Be the expert resource and guide on overall website strategy; share marketplace trends and insights to improve usability and effectiveness of the site
Partner with IT when necessary, and manage external agencies and contractors as needed on style and UI/UX design and updates
Create responsive landing pages and test them across browsers, operating systems, and devices to improve usability and increase conversion
Leverage Google Analytics and webmaster tools to monitor site performance and website traffic, irregularities, issues, trends and opportunities, in particular optimizing and improving SEO and SEM results and rankings
Maintain site health by ensuring proper internal link structure and implementing on-page optimization best practices
Define, track, and improve site KPIs, while reporting up and across the organization on progress and gaps
Recognize and define opportunities and tools for cross-selling and up-selling
Develop a deep understanding of how users interact with the website and implement changes to improve UI/UX and conversion rate optimization (CRO)

Performs additional duties and functions as needed by the company
Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance, and works outside of normal schedule as needed to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.
Ensures that company policies, standards and procedures are met, followed and maintained in accordance with established company policy (e.g. OSHA and safety compliance, Federal/State/Local laws).
Maintains confidentiality of financial information, customer information and other sensitive and confidential information
REQUIREMENTS:
2-4 years of experience in the web design/development field
An eye for user-centric design with a head for data-driven decision making
Expereinced in website & e-commerce management tools, site optimization tools with a preference towards WordPress and Shopify
Familiarity with HTML/CSS and XML along with a keen understanding of directing development resources in the areas of design standards, page speed and more
Strong understanding of both technical and content aspects of SEO
Demonstrable skill with Google Search Console and Google Analytics
Site redesign and/or platform migration experience a plus
