Senior Program Manager

Job Description Summary:

  • As a critical member of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Strategic Business (STRATBIZ) Division, J354, the Program Manager will support DLA's mission to deliver agile, adaptive, and resilient logistics support to the Department of Defense (DoD) and Whole of Government (WoG) partners. Operating within DLA Logistics Operations (J3), this role contributes to the strategic management of end-to-end supply chains that directly influence warfighter readiness across the continuum of conflict. The Strategic Business Division reinforces DLA's role as a global, innovative combat support agency by identifying and integrating strategic business solutions tailored to evolving operational demands.
  • The Program Manager serves as a critical advisor and integrator for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) programs. The PM is responsible for planning, coordinating, and integrating logistics product support into overall enterprise planning, ensuring alignment with government requirements. This role requires deep knowledge of logistics operations, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver strategic business solutions across multiple functional areas.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide logistics planning and integration support activities.
  • Identify activities that will be involved in providing needed logistical product support.
  • Integrate separate functions and activities in providing strategic business solutions.
  • Coordinate and integrate with internal and external specialized functional elements.
  • Monitor progress toward meeting the logistics product support integration plan and identify the cause and impact of delays or other issues.
  • Adjust plans and schedules for all related actions as required by delays or changes to logistics requirements.
  • Evaluate plans for and provision of logistical support for feasibility, efficiency, and economy and develop alternatives when required.
  • Provide strategic communications procedures, processes, and products including written language, composition, and graphics design.
  • Perform all assigned tasks using proven and repeatable processes.
  • Prepares and submits required contract deliverables as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience
  • Master's degree
  • 8-10 years expertise in logistics planning, integration, and sustainment.
  • 7-10+ years experience coordinating and integrating activities across multiple functional areas.
  • 8-10 years experience evaluating feasibility, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of logistics support plans.
  • 8-10 years in strategic communications, including technical writing and presentation development.

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) operations and processes preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and coordination skills for working with diverse stakeholders.

Location:

  • ONSITE - DLA Headquarters, Ft Belvoir, VA
  • May be required to travel up to 5% in support of this contract

Pay Range: $145,000 - $165,000 per year Apply Salary Minimum: 145000Salary Maximum: 165000
