Environmental Health and Safety Lead (Finance)
As the EHS Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing our Capital Projects Delivery Team for one of our large pharmaceutical clients. You will manage a team of H&S Specialists with compliance oversite for multiple construction projects and contractors. You will be responsible for monitoring or overseeing construction sites and making sure that workers within the environment adhere to government regulations/standards as well as client standards regarding safety. You will also ensure that the work/projects adhere to client timeline requirements and business goals.
The EHS Supervisor develops and implements policies/guidelines that help reduce the risk of workplace accidents. You will be responsible for determining the kind of policies that are needed within the construction site and how to execute them.
The EHS team, on a routine basis, will inspect the worksite to identify hazards and develop policies/procedures to eliminate them from the work environment. The team will be responsible for ensuring that all site personnel understand and implement the procedures. The EHS Supervisor will interact with client, Arcadis and contractor management on a routine basis and should be proficient in both written and oral communications. Responsibilities include reviewing contractor documentation, performing job safety analyses, developing and reporting on incident and near misses as well as developing corrective actions for both. This position also develops key safety metrics that are reported to stakeholders on a routine basis.
