Human Resource Generalist (Human Resources)



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Review applications for entry-level and non-exempt positions; conducts and/or schedules preliminary interviews.
2. Maintains accurate records of active job openings and received applications; manages internal and external job postings.
3. Organizes and presents at new employee orientation to ensure that new employees feel prepared to begin their employment and process the necessary paperwork to meet deadlines.
4. Conducts or assists with record audits and mandatory reports, which may include Form I-9s and other compliance reviews.
5. Maintains employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, training sessions, data changes, pay rates, terminations, and other key details.
6. Assists with administering employee benefits, including collecting and submitting employee information.
7. Maintains security badges for employees and contractors.
8. Supports company-wide information meetings such as quarterly employee meetings, open enrollment, recognition events, and other meetings as needed.
9. Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
10. Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions.
11. Aids with implementing training programs and retention activities.
12. Assist in daily HR functions.
13. Perform any other duties as assigned by HR Supervisor.
