Application Engineer - Mechanical (Engineering)

Be a technical expert for Nord employees and customers on Nord products and applications. Execute projects to improve product accuracy, dissemination of knowledge and assist in product sales effort as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist customer experience, sales, and customers in proper selection, and use of NORD Products.Complete assigned projects on
Implementing proper control documentation and procedures to assure product is correctlymanufactured, assembled, selected, and tailored (i.e. modified) for specific applications.Modifying product to tailor it to specific applications.Documenting product information for use by customer experience, sales, and customers.Prepare materials for training on Nord products and general technical topics.
Provide training as required to internal and external customers.Review/design/calculate complicated applications and product modifications.Travel with Salespeople to assist with technical presentations and discussions.Perform field sales and service calls as required.
