Position Summary
The Principal Network Engineer's role is to ensure the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services. This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization. In addition, the Principal Network Engineer will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. This individual will also analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion as well as provide end user training where required. This role also participates in the protection of company data and in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. Ensures all technical implementations and support are of the highest quality and meet the needs of the customers being served. Leads and/or provides guidance to junior members of the team as needed. This position at times will require flexible work hours including after hours and weekend work including on-call availability. Management reserves the ability to request other functions from this position.

This position is currently fully remote and performed from a home office. The home office setting must be conducive to all guidelines outlined by the organization.
