Simulator Tech and Software Engineer, eVTOL (Finance)
The simulation team will schedule and conduct eVTOL flight demonstrations, flight test, and training in our new, state of the art simulation facilities. The expected customer will include senior officials from government and the military services. In addition, the simulator technician will participate in the development of flight training syllabi and development of mission focused training scenarios. Depending on experience, the simulator technician will function as a member of Beta's software engineering team, which is pioneering the earliest instances of electric aviation training and mission development using the latest tools.
This role will have you placed in one of BETA's simulators in Springfield, Ohio. or Washington D.C. Your responsibilities will include configuring the simulator, briefing and familiarizing Air Force pilots in the simulator, as well as developing and maintaining core simulation functions as a member of the BETA team. This position is an important people-facing part of our efforts to develop our ALIA airplane by collecting customer feedback directly from Air Force pilots. Your ability to integrate this feedback directly into our software and simulation products would make you an outstanding candidate for this position.
