Essential Duties
In the absence of the QA Supervisor, a qualified member of the Food Safety, Quality team, and/or a qualified member of the manufacturing team, shall assume responsibilities as necessary. QA Manager shall assume SQF Practitioner functions.
Minimum Experience
Skills and Abilities
Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Ability to work within a team and coach employees
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Must be proficient in math and conversion of measurements
Ability to read SOPs and specifications
Proven attention to detail
SQF Practitioner (possess or ability to acquire)
Successfully complete HACCP training and participate as a HACCAP Team Member
Successfully complete Occupational Safety training and participate as a Team Member
Exceptional follow-up and proven time management
Be back up for the Test Baker
Provides facility tours for visitors/vendors as needed
Assist with maintenance of an approved chemical list
Ability to follow instructions and procedures precisely and consistently
Maintain a positive attitude
Ability to problem solve effectively
Ability to be self-motivated with a focus for continuous process improvement
Must possess the ability to measure using a variety of instrumentation and equipment with accuracy

Physical Demand Characteristics: Light – Lifts 10 lbs. or less frequently; lifts 25 lbs. occasionally. Walks and/or stands most of the day. Bends and stoops frequently. Reaches over head frequently. May push/pull.
