Ability to upholster the entire chair independentlyA minimum of 1 year prior experience in upholsteryAble to pleat and tuft chairsRequires heavy lifting up to 75 lbs occasionallyAble to work independentlyKnowledge of how to utilize staple guns, screw guns and general hand toolsAfter training period must be able to maintain a minimum of 75% efficiencyPush/Pull products on the line 34-66% of the workdayFirm grasping of tools and products 67-100% of the workdayStanding up to 100% of the workdayBending from the waist 25% to 50% of the workdayReaching 67-100% of the workdayGood eye for detail is REQUIREDMust scan chair tags in and out to capture upholstery time dataExamine products or work to verify conformance to specificationsInspect products or materials for damage, defects or shortagesCut or trim fabric or leatherRecognize characteristics of cloth or fabricRepair tears or defects in fabricsMust do self-inspection of completed chair before completion of chairMust be responsible for turning in production time sheet dailyMust be able to work production schedules including mandatory overtime
